Getting started with Peptides Vault

Sign up, verify your email, and ask your first question.

Five minutes from sign-up to a cited answer. The free plan covers it without a card.

1. Sign up

Go to /auth/register. You'll need:

  • A working email address (we'll send a verification link)
  • A password of at least 8 characters
  • Agreement to the Terms and Privacy Policy

The Cloudflare Turnstile widget at the bottom of the form runs a silent bot check — no puzzle, no clicks needed in most cases.

2. Verify your email

We send a verification link to the address you signed up with. The email arrives within ~30 seconds; check spam if you don't see it. Click "Verify my email" in the message — you'll land back on the app, signed in.

If the link expired or you didn't get it: hit /auth/verify-email and click the resend button (rate-limited to one per 30 seconds).

3. Land on /welcome — your starter vault is ready

On first sign-in we auto-create "My Peptides Vault" so you have somewhere to ask immediately. The three-step tour on /welcome walks through:

  1. Try a question — opens chat with the canonical first query already filled in ("What's the evidence for BPC-157 in tendon repair?")
  2. Add a source — upload a PDF, paste a URL, or add a YouTube video to your vault
  3. Set up auto-updates — configure ScholarFlow topics so new peptides papers get ingested automatically (Pro)

4. Your first chat answer

Click into the vault, type a question, and hit Send. Every answer is cited with [1] [2] markers that point to the source + page the claim came from. We refuse to answer off-topic questions instead of fabricating — see how citations work.

What you get on the free plan

  • 1 vault, 100 sources
  • 50 chat queries / month
  • ScholarFlow search (manual, no auto-cron)
  • 1 ScholarFlow paper ingest per day
  • $1/day Gemini cost ceiling
