What's the Library?

The Peptides Research Library is our curated corpus of open-access peptides papers (BPC-157, GLP-1 agonists, MOTS-c, epitalon, retatrutide, copper peptides, and more) — auto- ingested daily from PubMed and Europe PMC by our ScholarFlow pipeline. Every signed-in user (Free or Pro) gets read access: you can browse all the source titles + abstracts, chat against the whole corpus with cited answers, and share answer permalinks. Free is intentionally generous on the Library side; the upgrade path is for users who want their own private vault on top.

What does the Pro personal vault add?

Your personal vault is a private workspace where you upload your own PDFs, ingest YouTube channels, and subscribe to ScholarFlow topics on your own terms. It's separate from the Library — only you can see or chat against it. In the chat UI you pick per question whether to query the Library, your personal vault, or both (federated — citations are tagged by source).

What happens to my personal vault if I downgrade?

It's archived, not deleted. All sources + chat history are preserved. Re-upgrading restores immediate access (same vault, same data). You don't lose anything if you take a break.

What "fair use" means on chat

The Pro chat quota is listed as "Unlimited" but is technically capped at 2,000 queries/month and $5/day in Gemini spend. The cap exists so a single user can't spike org-wide cost. In practice no normal user gets close to either bound.

Per-tier cost ceilings

We cap Gemini spend on a per-user-per-day basis to prevent runaway usage from a single account. The chat endpoint refuses new questions if you've already hit your daily $ cap, with a clear upgrade-required message. See quotas.

Upgrading

Click Upgrade to Pro on /billing. We hand off to Stripe Checkout (test card 4242 4242 4242 4242 works in our test environment). Once you complete payment, the webhook flips your tier within ~5 seconds and applies the Pro quotas.

Canceling or downgrading

On /billing, click Manage subscription to open Stripe's customer portal. From there you can cancel, update card, change billing email, view invoices. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period — no pro-rated refund, but no further charges.

Promo codes

Stripe Checkout's promo-code field is enabled. If we send you a code for early-adopter pricing or a friend referral, apply it on the Checkout page before paying.

Annual / team / enterprise

Not offered yet. If you have a strong use case, email [email protected] — we'll work something out manually.
